Chalong Bay gift ideas
This selection brings together the 20 cl bottles, the Discovery Gift Set and the chalongbay.fr gift card. All the rums on offer are produced at The Distillery Phuket in Chalong, Thailand, from Thai cane juice, distilled in an Armagnac-style copper still imported from France, with no additives or added sugar.
The Discovery Gift Set
The Chalong Bay Discovery Gift Set contains three 20 cl bottles that show three ways of working with the same cane:
- Pure Series (40% ABV): an unaged white rum, fruity and smooth (pear, peach, coconut milk, vanilla).
- Double Barrel (47% ABV): a rum aged for 30 months in new French oak and Armagnac casks (vanilla, baked apple, spice).
- Thai Sweet Basil (40% ABV): a rum steam-infused with Thai sweet basil (aniseed, liquorice, white pepper).
The 20 cl bottles
The three rums in the gift set are also available individually in 20 cl. This size lets you give a specific rum, or try it before buying a 70 cl bottle.
Pure Series 20 cl
The distillery's benchmark rum and the most awarded in the range, at 40% ABV.
Double Barrel 20 cl
For lovers of aged rums: 47% ABV, no colouring or added sugar, not chill-filtered.
Thai Sweet Basil 20 cl
A way to discover Chalong Bay's steam infusion technique with an iconic ingredient of Thai cuisine.
The gift card
The chalongbay.fr gift card, valid only for online purchases on the shop, lets the recipient choose from the full range of spirits: Chalong Bay rums, Saneha gins, Dandy whiskies and Lanna.
How to choose
For someone who does not yet know Chalong Bay, the Discovery Gift Set offers the widest overview. For a sipping-rum enthusiast, Double Barrel is the most fitting choice; for a cocktail lover, Pure Series or Thai Sweet Basil. To give a 70 cl bottle or a limited Lunar Series edition, the gift card leaves the choice to the recipient.
